Order lingerie based on your measurements, not your average size.

I've mentioned this many times before, and here is your visual reminder why.

Do not only go according to your standard clothing size to buy lingerie! Most people get discouraged when you do this and it fits incorrectly, but never took their measurements to accurately find out what size they need to buy.

Here's my example. I was looking for a bodysuit for some upcoming selfies I was going to try and take for your ladies. I usually wear a standard size 8 in *most* clothing. According to my measurements, for this lingerie piece, I need to order a large (12/14) because it cuts high in the hips so I just need to focus on the waist and bust measurements. Typically I order a medium (or a small, depending on the stretch), but if I was ordering bottoms according to this chart, I would need a 2XL. Yep. You read that correctly.

And I bet it will fit great! Does it suck that we have to do this every time we order something? Yes. But if the clothing tag size bothers you, then get some scissors and cut it out! I'm going to cut most of your lingerie tags out anyways when you arrive for your session (unless it's a piece from Bordelle or something that would devalue the item) so you might as well save me the time and do it as soon as you try it on and love it.

You are not defined by your clothing size. Beauty doesn't have a number attached to it.
