Who books a boudoir experience?

Anyone! Whether you’re looking for self-confidence and want to feel empowered, or looking to give the special images to your significant other, boudoir is for you! Many women that are brides or wives book sessions and are looking to give the images and albums as gifts (and if you ask me that’s a damn nice gift), but there are just as many women that do this to invest in themselves and book yearly.

So, like, do I HAVE to be naked for part of the session?

Of course not! We wouldn’t dream of requiring this! The session, whether it be boudoir or just intimate portraits, the sessions are at YOUR comfort level. About half of the women that book sessions will be topless or nude, while the other half want to remain in their clothing or lingerie. Maybe you decide half way through your session that you want to try something new that you didn’t plan on… and that’s ok! You bring the courage, we will deliver the confidence. Want to be wrapped in a sheet without showing anything? No worries, we can make it happen.

What products do you offer to purchase?

Great question, babe! We offer luxury albums albums, metal wall art, and digital files as our main products in our collections, and then we have a lot of little gift items that you can add on. Additional items include folio boxes, calendars, Retro ViewFinders, playing cards, and more. Our 10x10 luxury album with a diamond cover is the most popular product, and our wall art galleries are climbing the charts as a close second! All of the products are available in our studio to view and touch.

When should I book my session? My wedding is 6 months away and I want to give an album to my partner as a gift.

Book now, beautiful! We book up to 18 months in advance and spaces fill quickly. Often times we are booked 4-6 months out, unless we can squeeze you in sooner. Albums, metal wall art, and other products can take up to 4 weeks to manufacture and ship, so plan ahead. Scheduling your session a minimum of 6-8 weeks before you want to give this incredible gift is perfect.

Additionally, most sessions are booked on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We do not offer weekend sessions because our amazing hair and makeup artists are booked with weddings every weekend from now until they retire.

Do you only offer indoor studio sessions?

Nope! We get many requests for outdoor sessions too, and if you scroll to the bottom of the GALLERY tab you can see some images from several of them. Want to hit up a car wash for a trendy session? How about a remote outdoor and lake experience? Girl, I’m down! Talk to me about your vision and I’ll make it come to life.

Where are you located?

Boudoir by Constance is conveniently located downtown in the heart of Washington, PA. We serve all of southwestern Pennsylvania, are a short 45 minute drive from Pittsburgh, 30 minute drive from Wheeling or Tridelphia, 50 minute drive from Morgantown, 30 minute drive from Waynesburg, 50 minutes from Weirton, 1 hour from Greensburg… well… you get the idea. Constance has many women travel from out of state to come see her, but she’s also available for travel to come to your city.

What can I do with my gorgeous images?

You mean aside from gawk at them? You are art, and we want to make sure you are displayed as luxury art. Boudoir by Constance offers beautiful, luxury albums that range in size and personalization, as well as metal wall art (yes, metallic metal! You have to see it to understand the beauty), folio boxes, acrylic displays, super cool retro viewfinders, and digital images to save or post. Albums are the most popular way of displaying your images, and you’ll be pleased to know that we order all products through confidential companies that will never share or use your pictures.

What happens to my images after the session?

Excellent question! Here’s the best answer: YOU get to decide! During your reveal you will sign a model release form to sign stating what happens to the images. You can choose for Boudoir by Constance to post your images on social media (we will never tag you), to only be used in the studio and not on online platforms, or for your images to never be shared and be kept completely confidential. Constance was a teacher for 9 years. Nine. Years. She understands confidentiality and will never post any image without your consent. Maybe you’re so proud of your art that you don’t mind specific ones being posted, and want to keep the rest for your eyes only. We can do that too!

Now, after you have selected your favorite images and purchased products, any image that you have not selected will be deleted. We do not keep any unpurchased images for confidentiality reasons, but the purchased ones stay on file with Boudoir by Constance. This is because you may decide at a later date that you did in fact want that one special picture on a 40”x60“ metal wall art for your walk-in closet, and you know what, you should get it!

How much does an experience like this cost?

You’re right, this IS an experience and hopefully not just a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you. The boudoir experience begins the day your appointment is booked by paying a $500 retainer fee (if requested, half down is needed to book your date, then half can be auto drafted in two weeks) which includes the pre-consultation surveys, preparation guides, and virtual shopping and wardrobe consultation, day-of hair and makeup by the top artists in the area, coached posing and facial expression guidance for your session, 1.5-2 hours of photoshoot time with up to 3 outfit changes, professional retouching and editing of your images, album and product designs, and a personal image reveal and ordering appointment! Products begin at only $1900 and bundled packages are the most popular with options that include luxury albums, digital files, metal wall art, and more.

To help effortlessly divide up the costs of your experience, we set up everyone on an interest-free prepayment plans within the first 30 days of your booking, and we accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and pay in 4 and pay later options (6-24 months with a virtual card).
